More Industry Leaders Confirm Participation in SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025
Following FRONIUS International, Panasonic, MicroStep, Messer Cutting Systems, Messer SE & Co.KGaA, Trumpf, LORCH and OTC, CLOOS, KUKA and Air Liquide have now also confirmed their participation in one of the most important platforms for joining, cutting and surfacing. "We are delighted to have three more top-class partners at our side. This is a strong signal for a successful trade fair," explains Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen.
Stephan Pittner, Managing Director of Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH, is also looking forward to the next edition: "As the leading trade fair for joining technology with a global reach, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN plays a decisive role in marketing of our products and processes. CLOOS was already present at the very first edition - and not without reason. Even today, the trade fair offers the ideal environment for presenting new and further developments to an international and highly qualified audience."
Major industry event
SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 will focus on current industry topics: Today, sustainable and efficient production is a declared goal for long-term success in the manufacturing industry market. In order to save material and energy as well as counteract the shortage of skilled workers, digitalization and automation processes in particular represent viable solutions for the future. As one of the global suppliers of intelligent automation solutions, KUKA is also confirming its participation. "SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is the most important trade event for the metalworking industry. It provides ideal conditions for discovering the latest technologies and innovations. The trade fair offers a framework for presenting, sharing and discussing product highlights," says Siegfried Heissler, Global Business Development GI Metal at KUKA.
Knowledge exchange and first hand expert information
The extensive supporting program of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 also offers space for discussion and, above all, new input. Among other things, a congress of the DVS – German Welding Society, expert forums, talks with specialists as well as product presentations and live demonstrations are planned. After its overwhelming success in 2023, underwater technology with demonstrations in a diving container will again be a focal point.
Sebastian Jureczek, Chairman of the Management Board at Air Liquide Deutschland GmbH, emphasizes: "We will be back at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN next year. The trade fair is an important platform for us to present our innovations to the global experts in joining and cutting technology. In 2025 we will attend with our process cost analysis 'Unlocking Hidden Cost of Welding', our application technology expertise and our extensive product portfolio, among other things, and look forward to talking to our customers and interested people."
SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN goes abroad
The fact that SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is also successful outside of Germany is demonstrated by its activities abroad. At the next BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING, from August 13 thorugh 16, 2024 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Messe Essen will host the German joint stand on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics. INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING will follow from November 27 through 29 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai – including a technical conference and welding competition.
