Plastics Expertise for English Speakers

New Courses exploring the world of plastics

German Plastics Center SKZ in Wuerzburg, Germany is including two new English-language basic courses. The working environment is becoming increasingly international raising demand for further training and qualifications. To ensure all employees have equal access to high-quality plastics knowledge, SKZ is introducing two new basic courses in English. With the expansion of the basic courses in English, participants have the opportunity to select the course that best fits their needs. Each course is offered twice a year in two different versions.

Flexible learning

“Basics of Plastic Materials” is aimed at those interested in how plastics are made and how they are structured. Participants discover the different properties of plastics and find answers to the key question of which plastic to choose and when to use it. The course “Basics of Plastics Technology” is suitable for participants who want to learn more about the manufacturing processes of plastic products. The focus is on processing methods such as extrusion, injection molding and blow molding.

The live online courses are 3 hours each and are suitable for anyone who wants to participate flexibly from anywhere, without any travel expenses. The in-person course, which takes place at German Plastics Center headquarters, participants benefit from personal exchanges and a tour of SKZ.

“We are delighted to be able to offer two popular basic courses in English this year. Especially in view of the world's largest plastics trade fair, K 2025, we want to offer employees in the plastics field, like career changers and office staff, the opportunity to take their plastics knowledge to the next level this year,” says Marco Rabensteiner, Trainer Education Materials, Compounding, Extrusion.
