Annual Conference: Aluminium and Magnesium – The Bridge to a Sustainable Future

Aluminium und Magnesium, zwei Werkstoffe, die erst seit knapp über 100 Jahren in größerem Umfang eingesetzt werden, sind heute in vielen Anwendungsbereichen vertreten und vor allem im Hinblick auf den nachhaltigen Leichtbau unverzichtbar. In vielen der etablierten Anwendungen spielt jedoch die Beständigkeit und der Schutz der Werkstoffe in korrosiver Umgebung eine wesentliche Rolle, insbesondere bei der Ausweitung der Anwendung auf neue Einsatzgebiete. Die englischsprachige Konferenz „Aluminium und Magnesium – Die Brücke in eine nachhaltige Zukunft“ gibt Einblicke in neue Erkenntnisse und Entwicklungen zum Einsatz der beiden Werkstoffe und zu weiterentwickelten, innovativen Korrosionsschutzkonzepten in Anwendungen in der Luftfahrt, im Automobilbau, im Bauwesen und in der Medizintechnik.
