Removing fumes at the source

Hazardous gases and particles are generated during welding. These substances can cause chronic respiratory and cardiovascular diseases and even cancer. To protect the health of operators, it is essential to extract and treat these fumes.

In order to extract the maximum volume of fumes before they can get into the ambient air and be inhaled by the operator, it is important to choose an extraction device as close as possible to the source of the fumes. The most effective tool is a welding extraction torch combined with an extraction unit. Engmar offers its new solution, which meets the high level of protection demanded by DIN ISO 21904. The 420-extraction torch enables continuous high-intensity welding at any angle and in any position, while combining ergonomics and productivity. The Atmoflow extraction unit treats up to 99.95 % of welding particles of 0.3 μm and above.
