thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe takes over 2A-business from thyssenkrupp Stahlkontor

In a strategic step to further develop the thyssenkrupp Materials Services segment, thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe has taken over the 2A business from thyssenkrupp Stahlkontor as of October 1, 2024. This move is aimed at achieving greater efficiency for the entire segment through synergy effects. thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe, a specialist in the service center sector, already trades in declassified cold-rolled strip and surface-coated material. By expanding its product portfolio to include declassified hot-rolled strip, the company will be able to offer its customers a more comprehensive range from a single source. thyssenkrupp Stahlkontor will continue its other business activities unchanged.

As a steel and aluminium service centre, thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe serves processors from the automotive, electrical, construction and solar industries at ten locations in six countries. With its many years of expertise in procurement, consulting and prefabrication, the processing specialist provides tailor-made services and digital solutions for flat steel and aluminium to its diverse customer base throughout Europe.
